Why blue glasses?
Professional tasters use blue glass so the colour of the oil can't fool the eye because colour tells you nothing about quality. Warm the glass in your palm, uncover it, and smell before you sip: green tomato, apple, almond or thyme? The guide card walks you through it step by step, and the checklist on the back gives you the words for what you're tasting.
By the third pour, supermarket "extra virgin" will never get past you again.
About Perdisacca
Perdisacca is a family olive farm in Bale, Istria, named after the saddlebag our great-grandfather Giorgio lost in the field where our grove now stands. We grow autochthonous Buža and Rošinjola olives, press within hours of harvest, and blend our herbal teas by hand. Shipping & returns
Orders are dispatched from the farm within 1-2 working days, tracked, across the EU. Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery; if anything arrives damaged, write to info@perdisacca.com and we will make it right.
Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.
We ship from the farm in Bale with tracked delivery across the European Union. Orders are packed and dispatched within 1-2 working days — oil bottles are filled fresh to order, which is worth the small wait.
Changed your mind? Unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund — your standard EU right of withdrawal. Opened food products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, but if anything arrives damaged or simply is not right, write to info@perdisacca.com and we will fix it.
Everything in this shop is grown, pressed, blended and packed by our family in Bale, Istria. The oils rest under nitrogen and are bottled only when you order; the teas are blended by hand in small batches. And if you are ever in Istria — come taste before you buy. Tastings at the farm are free.
